Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents during overnight hours
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition accurately and timely
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls
- Communicate changes in resident status to nursing staff and document clearly
- Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and meaningful support
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
- Able to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Local to Albuquerque or able to commute reliably (LOCAL ONLY)
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred (if available)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in providing personal care and safe resident handling
- Proficient with taking and charting vital signs and basic observations
- Familiarity with care documentation and reporting standards
- Ability to prioritize tasks during busy overnight shifts
- Compassionate approach to resident dignity and comfort
