Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform vital signs checks and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
• Assist with personal care tasks while preserving resident dignity and independence
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA classification noted in posting)
• Ability to meet facility onboarding requirements and any state-specific credentials
• Reliable transportation required — facility notes that rideshare may be unreliable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care environment and collaborating with a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
• Skilled in resident transfers, ambulation assistance, and safe lifting techniques
• Strong observation and communication skills for reporting changes in condition
• Customer-service mindset with patience, empathy, and respect for residents
• Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and prioritize tasks
