Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents across units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Use PCC (PointClickCare) proficiently for charting, orders, and communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
- Assess resident conditions and report changes promptly to ensure safety
- Support transfers, admissions, and discharges with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications
- Current, valid LPN license for Vermont (required)
- Proficiency in PCC (PointClickCare) is required — you’ll be using it daily
- Ability and willingness to float across multiple units as needed
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Available for a 13-week travel assignment starting mid-February 2026
Education
- LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical nursing program completion
- State LPN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (PCC)
- Medication administration and care planning experience
- Assessment and clinical judgment for long-term and skilled nursing populations
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
