Location: Windsor, Virginia
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day); weekends as needed, possible float coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional gains
- Deliver skilled speech and language therapy to adults in a rehabilitation setting
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and family members to coordinate care
- Document patient progress clearly and timely to support outcomes and continuity
- Participate in discharge planning and transitions of care
- Provide education and training to caregivers and support staff
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring team members and sharing best practices
Qualifications
- State license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain one)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or equivalent credentialing welcomed
- Experience in rehabilitation or outpatient therapy settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care approach
- Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and outcome measurement
- Proficient documentation practices and electronic medical record use
- Ability to adapt therapy to patient needs and functional goals
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
