Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents, prioritizing dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Assess, monitor and record resident vital signs and changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Perform wound care, ADL support, and other clinical procedures as required
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and comply with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical or registered nursing program
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred but new grads welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN) or registered nursing (RN) program
• Relevant state licensure required (LPN or RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic to intermediate wound care and ADL support
• Ability to recognize and respond to changes in resident condition
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
