Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, days to be confirmed (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents, prioritizing dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Assess, monitor and record resident vital signs and changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- Perform wound care, ADL support, and other clinical procedures as required
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and comply with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (required)
- Completion of an accredited practical or registered nursing program
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred but new grads welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN) or registered nursing (RN) program
- Relevant state licensure required (LPN or RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic to intermediate wound care and ADL support
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in resident condition
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
