Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Support mobility and safe transfers to help patients maintain independence
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
- Accurately document care, observations, and any incidents in patient records
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and visitors
- Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — active in New Mexico or eligible to practice in the state
- Ability to work the posted shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- Local candidates only (per job notes)
- Availability for the full assignment period: February 9, 2026 through April 6, 2026
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
- Strong observation and clear reporting skills
- Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
- Comfortable with documentation and basic charting
- Good communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative unit
- Safe patient handling and mobility assistance techniques
