Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day) with a 30-minute meal break
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear, meaningful goals
- Deliver skilled therapy sessions and adjust treatment based on patient progress
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and caregivers to coordinate care
- Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families to support carryover and improve outcomes
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions
Qualifications
- State license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in rehabilitation, inpatient, or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification if required by the facility
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for communication and swallowing disorders
- Knowledge of dysphagia management and safe feeding strategies
- Skilled in developing measurable, patient-centered treatment plans
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting per facility standards
- Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
