Location: Baltimore, MD
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (schedule/days vary) NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, treating each person with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and clearly in resident records to ensure continuity
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to create a comforting environment
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent — must meet state requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to care for older adults
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADL) support and resident hygiene
- Basic infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Ability to observe and report behavioral or health changes
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
