Shift Type: Variable days (facility schedule), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/PM shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living for geriatric residents
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding while preserving dignity
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
- Take and record vital signs and document care accurately and promptly
- Support infection control, safety protocols, and a clean environment
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and coworkers
- Participate in handoffs and team huddles to ensure seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working with older adults and sensitive to geriatric needs
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Reliable, compassionate, and a strong team player
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of state-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant training/certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of geriatric care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Safe resident transfer and body mechanics techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
