Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely according to orders
• Perform focused assessments and document patient status clearly in the chart
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate concerns to appropriate clinicians
• Support a safe, clean environment and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — active or eligible in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) on the scheduled days
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration skills and medication reconciliation
• Strong resident assessment and clinical observation abilities
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Good communication and teamwork skills with residents, families, and staff
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Ability to follow policies, protocols, and infection control practices
