Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotid, renal, abdominal, venous and arterial exams with accuracy and compassion
• Conduct lower extremity reflux studies and follow unit protocols for image acquisition
• Operate and optimize GE ultrasound equipment for high-quality imaging
• Document findings thoroughly and enter results in MediTech Expanse in a timely manner
• Provide clear patient education and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to support patient care and workflow
• Participate in quality assurance, maintain equipment readiness, and assist with procedural improvements

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire (NH state registration) - required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant vascular sonography experience (as listed)
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex studies and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and vascular sonography procedures
• Familiarity with MediTech Expanse EMR for documentation
• Skilled in ABI, carotid, renal, abdominal, venous/arterial studies and lower extremity reflux
• Comfort learning on-site skills such as pTCO2 (training provided)
• Strong patient care, communication, and time-management skills
