Bill Rate: $44.64/hr - $60.26/hr

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT imaging and general diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and care
Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications so every patient encounter is smooth and safe
Administer intravenous contrast media and perform contrast injections following protocol and safety standards
Operate CT and X-ray equipment, monitor image quality, and make technical adjustments to optimize diagnostic results
Maintain quality assurance, adhere to radiation protection and radiobiology principles, and follow department policies
Support Enloe Medical Center’s patient-centered mission by practicing excellent communication and compassionate patient care
Document procedures, patient information, and QA activities accurately and promptly

Qualifications

Current California CRT (Radiologic Technology certificate) required
Approved CPR certification required
ARRT registration and Fluoroscopy permit required to be obtained within 6 months of hire
Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certifications desired
Advanced CT certification desired
Two years diagnostic x-ray experience desired; one year CT experience desired

Education

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the California Department of Health Services (CRT) required
CPR certification required
ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire (as noted)
Radiographic contrast media, venipuncture, and Advanced CT certifications are desired

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging procedures
Skilled in patient positioning, patient care, and safe contrast administration
Familiar with CT equipment operation and diagnostic radiography techniques
Understanding of quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, and radiobiology
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
