Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, prioritizing dignity and safety
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with caregivers
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Valid basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with compassion
Comfort working overnight shifts and in fast-paced care settings
Reliable, professional, and able to follow facility policies and procedures
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient care techniques and activities of daily living
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform transfers and use proper body mechanics
Familiarity with charting and maintaining clear documentation
