Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to ensure accurate patient results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with careful attention to chain-of-custody and sample integrity
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to minimize downtime
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for testing and ensure proper labeling and storage
• Maintain accurate records of test results and manage data within the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Follow and uphold standard operating procedures and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, coagulation testing, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for data recording and result management
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication and teamwork
• Phlebotomy experience or prior hospital setting experience is a plus
• Certification as CLT or CLS preferred (or equivalent clinical laboratory certification)
• Ability to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (required)
