Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
Document patient observations and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support teammates during admissions, discharges, and shift changes with a can-do attitude

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Active BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and able to handle typical patient care duties
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Prior experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Accurate vital sign measurement and charting
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively under direction of RNs and supervisors
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with patients and families
