Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient independence and functional outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately in EPIC and maintain timely charting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties to coordinate care
• Provide patient and caregiver education on adaptive techniques and home safety
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards
• Maintain compliance with required health screenings and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active, verifiable Occupational Therapy license (license/certificate verification required)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Ability to pass Trinity respirator fit test, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, and required health screenings/vaccinations
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in OT evaluations, documentation, and care planning
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, mobility training, and activities of daily living interventions
• Understanding of infection control, patient safety, and clinical compliance requirements
• Comfort working across multiple facilities in Livingston and Washtenaw Counties
