Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and use of assistive devices
• Document care accurately and maintain patient dignity and privacy
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and assisting with hands-on care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (if available, bring it — we like it!)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
• Familiarity with documenting care in patient charts
• Safe patient handling and transfer skills
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Empathy, patience, and strong observational skills
