Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in a 16-bed Neuro/ICU unit
• Manage complex lines and airways — assist with intubation and care for central and arterial lines
• Monitor and care for patients with EVDs in coordination with core staff
• Document accurately and efficiently in Meditech to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute safe care plans
• Maintain excellent patient ratios (approximately 2:1) and prioritize patient safety
• Support and mentor colleagues while contributing to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

• Active RN license (eligible to practice in Texas preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (Neuro/ICU experience a strong plus)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Comfort with Meditech EMR and standard ICU equipment
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical procedures and work as a team player

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU nursing fundamentals and critical-care assessment
• Intubation support and airway management
• Central line and arterial line care and troubleshooting
• EVD care and monitoring
• Experience with Meditech EMR workflows and documentation
• Familiarity with oncology and neuro critical care populations
