Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, making their comfort a top priority
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support high-quality care and continuity
• Support infection control and safety practices to protect patients and team members
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant credential (CNA or T-CNA) in good standing
• Current state authorization to practice in New Mexico (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable and able to work overnight 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM shifts
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements including background check and health screenings
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (if you don't have it, we can help you find resources)

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program; High School diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care fundamentals and ability to assist with ADLs
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Clear, compassionate communication and teamwork
• Reliable documentation habits and attention to detail
• Basic familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn quickly
