Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients within scope of LPN practice
• Perform medication administration, wound care, and basic clinical procedures safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, record observations, and report changes to the care team promptly
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with RNs and multidisciplinary staff to implement care plans and ensure continuity
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and adhere to facility policies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience in long-term care or similar clinical settings is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts (Monday-Wednesday) reliably

Education

• Completed accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic patient monitoring skills
• Proficient in medication administration and documentation practices
• Familiarity with infection control standards and safe patient handling
• Comfortable working in a collaborative care environment and escalating concerns appropriately
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
