Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions and assist therapists in executing individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on patient care including mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and recovery goals
- Support efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Qualifications
- Valid PTA licensure (Physical Therapist Assistant) in the state where you will practice, or appropriate PT licensure if applying as a Physical Therapist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Clinical experience in rehab, acute care, or post-acute settings is a plus
- Ability to start the assignment on 2026-02-16 and commit through 2026-05-16
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Education
- PTA: Associate degree from an accredited PTA program (or equivalent)
- PT: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or entry-level degree as required for licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
- Comfortable with patient assessment and progress tracking
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and clinical charting
- Solid patient education and family coaching abilities
- Good time management and prioritization in a busy rehab environment
