Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor residents' condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
- Perform basic clinical tasks as directed (vital signs, observation, documentation)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with the care team and families
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (or state-equivalent nursing assistant credential)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-player mindset
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and respectful elder care
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, observing changes, documenting accurately
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Team collaboration and following care plans reliably
