Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, efficient staffing levels across clinical departments to ensure excellent patient care
• Lead and support nursing staff during night operations, offering clinical direction and problem solving
• Manage multiple priorities calmly in a fast-paced environment to keep the unit running smoothly
• Intervene effectively with staff, patients, families, and medical teams when issues arise
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and escalate when needed
• Foster a teamwork-focused culture that supports staff wellbeing and optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Washington nursing license (required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) with active credentials
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 4 years of recent clinical nursing experience
• At least 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong intervention and communication skills with patients, families, and staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing and patient assessment expertise
• Staffing coordination and shift management experience
• Effective patient, family, and staff communication
• Ability to prioritize and triage in fast-paced clinical settings
• Team leadership, conflict resolution, and escalation skills
• Familiarity with hospital policies and night operations workflow
