Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy assessment, treatment, and documentation for patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safe mobility strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to achieve measurable outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and comply with facility policies

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (see Education section)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; prior experience in post-acute or rehab settings is a plus

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy accepted where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and balance interventions
• Knowledge of mobility aids and durable medical equipment recommendations
• Ability to assess functional goals and measure outcomes
• Patient-centered approach with strong clinical reasoning
• Efficient time management and caseload prioritization
