Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts), schedule includes every other weekend; no on-call requirement

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care in the ICU and across hospital units, making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement treatment plans based on clinical protocols
- Manage mechanical ventilation and advanced ventilator strategies for critically ill patients
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators including PB 980, PB 840 and Respironics V60 with confidence
- Document care accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record to ensure continuity and safety
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Participate in unit-based protocols, quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care planning
- Provide adaptable coverage across units as needed to support staffing and patient needs
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Minimum 2 years of critical care / ICU respiratory experience (required)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Comfortable with mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
- Experience with Meditech or other EMRs a plus
- Post-op cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
- Team-player attitude, self-motivated, and patient-centered
Knowledge & Skills
- Mechanical ventilation and ventilator management

- Patient assessment and protocol-driven therapy
- Experience with PB 980, PB 840 and Respironics V60 ventilators
- Meditech electronic medical record usage
- Ability to adapt and float across multiple hospital areas
