Shift Type: Monday-Friday typical, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM / 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; rotating coverage includes nights and weekends, on-call response within 15 minutes; weekend coverage every 3-5 weekends; holiday coverage every 4th holiday

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies for traumas, strokes and emergent chest pain cases to support rapid clinical decision making
- Operate and maintain the Toshiba CT scanner and ancillary imaging equipment with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Provide portable X-ray and fluoroscopy support as needed, and assist with C-arm and DEXA imaging when required
- Start IVs when needed (if not already placed by an RN) to enable contrast studies
- Accurately document exams and patient information in Meditech/PACS to ensure seamless care coordination
- Follow radiology safety protocols and infection control procedures, including isolation precautions
- Collaborate with the radiology supervisor, lead techs and nursing teams to deliver timely, patient-centered imaging services
- Respond promptly to trauma and stroke activations with a professional, calm approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CT/Radiologic Technologist experience
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active North Dakota state radiologic technologist license (or eligible to obtain before start)
- Competency in IV insertion for contrast studies
- Comfortable using Meditech and PACS systems
- Willingness to work rotating days, weekends and participate in on-call rotations with a 15-minute response time
- Able to complete approximately 12 hours of unit-specific orientation (varies by experience)
- Able to meet facility radius and submission rules (candidates may not be currently employed PRN/FT/PT with CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging
- Familiarity with Toshiba CT systems and PACS/Meditech workflows
- Skills in portable X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm and DEXA imaging
- Strong understanding of radiology safety and infection control
- Ability to perform IV starts and manage contrast administration protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork to collaborate across departments during high-acuity events
- Experience with trauma and stroke imaging protocols
