Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function with compassion and clinical precision
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect patient goals and evidence-based practice
• Deliver effective therapy using a variety of techniques, including AAC when appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document progress clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families to support carryover and meaningful outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in California (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Experience in evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders preferred
• Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic health records
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in clinical assessment and evidence-based intervention for pediatric and adult populations
• Knowledge of dysphagia management and instrumental assessment basics
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication approaches
• Proficient documentation and clinical reasoning abilities
• Ability to build rapport quickly with patients, families, and care teams
