Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based tools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients reach meaningful goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Provide family education and caregiver training to extend progress beyond sessions
• Document progress clearly and timely in clinical records and participate in care planning
• Adapt therapy approaches for a diverse caseload and support patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology (able to obtain California licensure preferred)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with adult and/or pediatric populations in clinical settings is a plus
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and treatment planning for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Experience with AAC devices and alternative communication strategies
• Skilled in dysphagia evaluation and management techniques
• Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with families
• Comfortable using clinical documentation systems and outcome measures
