Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a rehab/long-term care setting
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery goals
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license (New Mexico licensure or compact RN license accepted where applicable)
• Comfort and ability to work 12+ hour night shifts
• Previous experience in rehab, long-term care, or medical-surgical settings is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or must obtain upon start if required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Comfort working independently during night shifts
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient education skills
