Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts to patients in your unit
• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor patient status
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care
• Document care thoroughly and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change
• Respond quickly and competently to urgent changes in patient condition
• Support and educate patients and families to promote recovery and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (NC license or compact state license accepted where applicable)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating night 12-hour shifts and the Every Other Week schedule
• Clear background check, immunizations, and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize and manage care during busy night shifts
• Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
