Shift Type: Rotating night 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Week rotation (4 nights one week, 3 nights the next) — Night shift schedule (specific days scheduled by unit)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts to patients in your unit
- Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor patient status
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care
- Document care thoroughly and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change
- Respond quickly and competently to urgent changes in patient condition
- Support and educate patients and families to promote recovery and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license (NC license or compact state license accepted where applicable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating night 12-hour shifts and the Every Other Week schedule
- Clear background check, immunizations, and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize and manage care during busy night shifts
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
