Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts (4x12 one week / 3x12 next week, every other week), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, day shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour day shifts
- Perform thorough assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately in the chart
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate continuity of care
- Monitor patient progress and escalate concerns promptly to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges during your shift
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license valid for practice in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
- Current clinical experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, professional, and able to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Education
- Registered Nurse: ADN or BSN from an accredited program
- Licensed Practical Nurse: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills for acute care patients
- IV therapy and medication administration proficiency
- Experience with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to follow policies, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
