Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour day shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate continuity of care
• Monitor patient progress and escalate concerns promptly to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges during your shift

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license valid for practice in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
• Current clinical experience in acute care settings is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Reliable, professional, and able to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Registered Nurse: ADN or BSN from an accredited program
• Licensed Practical Nurse: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills for acute care patients
• IV therapy and medication administration proficiency
• Experience with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to follow policies, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
