Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Coordinate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, escalating concerns to providers as needed
• Provide clear, supportive education to residents and families about care and transitions
• Support a positive culture by mentoring peers and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or appropriate compact licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications appreciated
• Valid professional references and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork — you’ll collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists and providers
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced care setting
