Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Coordinate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, escalating concerns to providers as needed
- Provide clear, supportive education to residents and families about care and transitions
- Support a positive culture by mentoring peers and contributing to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or appropriate compact licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications appreciated
- Valid professional references and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork — you’ll collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists and providers
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced care setting
