Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct patient care with compassion and clinical confidence
• Administer medications, treatments, and document care accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute individualized care plans
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote independence
• Maintain clear, professional communication with the care team and facility leadership

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in Delaware
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications welcomed
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Professional, reliable, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Nursing diploma programs accepted for qualified RNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and standard clinical equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Ability to manage time effectively during a busy day shift
