Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care to neonates in a Level III-IV NICU setting
- Perform and support advanced neonatal procedures such as intubation and central/PICC line care
- Manage ventilator modalities including HFNC, SiPAP and HFOV to stabilize fragile infants
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios and prioritize care for high-acuity newborns
- Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR (CPN/Meditech) to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and families to develop and execute care plans
- Monitor and respond to neonatal emergencies using NRP and STABLE protocols
- Mentor and support team members while contributing to a positive unit culture
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required)
- NRP certification (required)
- STABLE certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience (must-have)
- Posting indicates 4 years of experience (as listed in job details)
- Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR and familiarity with neonatal equipment (ventilators, feeding/IV pumps)
- Comfortable with high-acuity procedures and 1:3 or 1:1 patient ratio management
- Ability to work nights and meet weekend coverage expectations
Education
- Active RN license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neonatal assessment and critical care skills for NICU Level III-IV patients
- Proficiency with ventilator management: HFNC, SiPAP and HFOV
- Hands-on experience with central lines, PICC lines, PIV and chest tube care
- Intubation support and familiarity with neonatal resuscitation practices
- Skilled documentation in Meditech/CPN and effective interdisciplinary communication
- Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients while maintaining safety and compassion
- Family-centered care approach and patient/family education skills
