Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the resident chart and electronic systems
- Support residents and families with education, communication, and comfort
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
- Completion of an accredited LPN program and high school diploma or GED
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
- LOCAL ONLY — must reside within commuting distance of Keene, NH
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and resident assessment skills
- Proficient in vital sign monitoring and recognizing clinical changes
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Infection prevention and safety protocols
