Shift Type: Day shift (various start times), 40 hours/week; 2 days per week on-call; every 3rd weekend on-call — day shifts/rotating on-call coverage

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care as a bedside RN
- Perform timely patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Implement ACLS and BLS protocols when emergency situations arise
- Deliver trauma-focused care guided by TNCC principles and stroke assessment using NIHSS
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete Trinity specialty competency testing
- Respond to on-call needs and support weekend coverage to ensure continuous patient care
- Participate in skills checklists and competency validation to keep practice current
Qualifications
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) credential
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and NIHSS certification
- License/certificate verification required
- Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
- Meet health requirements: fit test, drug screen, required immunizations and TB/IGRA
- Comfortable with day shifts, on-call responsibilities and periodic weekend coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in ACLS and BLS emergency protocols
- Trauma and stroke recognition skills (TNCC, NIHSS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to competency standards
- Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and prioritize under pressure
