Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Manage chronic illnesses, acute injuries, and urgent care needs with sound clinical judgment
• Perform routine exams, immunizations, and cancer screening to keep patients healthy
• Deliver lifestyle counseling and patient-centered education to support long-term wellness
• Collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff, including RN triage
• Participate in a light shared call rotation to support continuity of care
• Contribute to hospital medicine, clinical leadership, or administrative initiatives when interested
• Optionally teach first-year medical students and precept NP/PA learners to shape the next generation

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine (no lapsed Board Certifications permitted)
• Current or eligible medical license for New York State
• Authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
• Comfortable working in outpatient settings and collaborating with APPs and hospital teams
• Interest in teaching, precepting, or taking on leadership roles is a plus
• Available to start upon completion of credentialing

Education

• MD or DO (or equivalent)
• Completion of accredited Family Medicine residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in comprehensive primary care and chronic disease management
• Skilled in acute care assessment and management in an outpatient setting
• Proficient with preventive care, immunizations, and cancer screening protocols
• Strong patient counseling and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers and RN triage
• Comfortable participating in shared call rotations and team-based care
• Interest or experience in medical education, precepting, and clinical leadership
