Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the cath lab setting
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and ensure sterile technique
• Assist the cardiology team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Perform accurate documentation and handoffs to maintain continuity of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Current WA State Registered Nurse License (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
• Experience working in a Cath Lab or cardiac procedural environment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with monitoring equipment and telemetry
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection prevention
• Familiarity with catheterization lab workflows and instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate procedural needs and support the clinical team
• Solid assessment skills and clinical decision-making in acute settings
