Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day, 4x10-hour) with required on-call coverage M-F and weekend call coverage (3 weekends every 6-week schedule); weekend and float responsibilities between lab specialties
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support and assist in cardiac, diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures with calm precision
- Participate in stroke and interventional neuro procedures including thrombectomy support
- Perform procedural duties such as EKG lead placement, equipment setup, sterile scrubbing and circulating
- Prep access sites, maintain accurate monitoring, and assist with hemodynamic assessments
- Operate and maintain imaging and cath lab equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Float between lab specialties as needed, providing flexible clinical coverage across cardiac, neuro and IR cases
- Respond to on-call activations promptly and provide high-quality care during emergent STEMI and stroke activations
- Stock and manage procedural supplies and help maintain an efficient, patient-centered workspace
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting — first-timers accepted if other strong experience applies
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS current
- ARRT (preferred) or RCIS accepted; ARRT Advanced or CCI RCES/CET are a plus
- Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) permit required and active state professional license
- Community hospital experience preferred and comfort working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
- Willingness to float between specialties and participate in on-call rotations, including weekends
- Pending licenses are not accepted; RTO (return-to-office) documentation must be provided at submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong familiarity with Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic caths, PCI, stent placement and left/right heart cath
- Experience with interventional radiology and stroke care, including thrombectomy support
- Comfort with advanced therapies and devices: ECMO, Impella, TAVR/TMVR, Watchman and MitraClip procedures (preferred)
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy safety and operation and sterile field maintenance
- Charting experience in Epic or quick adaptability to Epic charting workflows
- Excellent intra-team communication, crisis response skills, and attention to sterile technique
