Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that restore function and independence
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to improve mobility, strength, and pain management
• Progress and document patient outcomes using electronic medical records with clarity and clinical reasoning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain progress
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transitions to the next level of care

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain licensure in Maryland
• Degree in Physical Therapy (see Education) and clinical experience in outpatient settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Strong assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a collaborative rehab team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable
• Degree must meet state licensure requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation best practices
• Skilled in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting outcomes
• Ability to perform patient assessments, set measurable goals, and track progress
• Strong patient education and motivational interviewing skills
