Location: Mission Bay, CA
Shift Type: Day shifts, 8-hour days (exact start/end times vary by site; ability to float to other UCSF facilities). Typical schedule: Monday-Friday daytime (day)

Candidate Pay Rate: $94 - $65.8 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered oncology and infusion nursing care in an outpatient setting
- Administer chemotherapy and manage infusion treatments following ONS/ONCC standards and safety protocols
- Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments and intervene appropriately
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effect management, and self-care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless care and safe transitions
- Float to other UCSF facilities as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
Qualifications
- Active CA RN License (required)
- AHA BLS certification (required)
- Chemotherapy competency per ONS/ONCC (required)
- Minimum 2 years outpatient infusion experience (required)
- Outpatient oncology experience (required)
- Ability and willingness to float to other UCSF facilities (required)
- OCN certification (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Outpatient infusion therapy and infusion pump familiarity
- Safe chemotherapy handling and administration (ONS/ONCC standards)
- Oncology-specific patient assessment and symptom management
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and float between sites
