Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to facility policies
- Assess residents regularly and communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team
- Document care clearly and promptly in the medical record to support continuity and quality
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
- Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, and other staff to deliver cohesive, person-centered care
- Participate in care planning and help implement individualized care goals
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (practical/vocational nurse) in New York or compact equivalent prior to start
- Experience or demonstrated interest in long-term care settings is preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and managing a typical LTC patient load
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable before start
- Ability to pass required background checks, immunization and TB screening per facility policy
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
- Skilled in resident assessment, wound care basics, and ADL support
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members
- Good time management and prioritization for 12-hour shift workflow
- Team-oriented approach and a positive attitude for collaborative care
