Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating every-other-week schedule (PM & Night). Week A: Saturday & Sunday 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Wednesday 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Thursday 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM (NOC). Week B: Saturday & Sunday 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM; Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Friday 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (NOC). Rotating shifts including weekends.
Hours per Week: 34
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Communicate promptly and clearly with physicians, families, and the care team when a resident’s condition changes
- Complete timely and thorough resident assessments to support individualized care plans
- Administer medications safely following the 5 Rights and chart accurately
- Provide wound care and document healing progress and interventions
- Monitor residents closely for changes in condition and escalate as needed
- Lead the floor when on duty: assess situations, direct staff, and ensure quality care
- Assist CNAs with resident needs and support the care team during busy periods
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to nursing leadership
- Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and precise charting
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license — must hold and maintain
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- 1+ years of related nursing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assessments and charting
- Availability to work every weekend as part of the rotating schedule
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration with attention to safety and the 5 Rights
- Wound care assessment and treatment
- Resident assessment skills and care planning
- Accurate clinical charting and documentation
- Patient monitoring and early recognition of condition changes
- Timely, professional communication with families and providers
- Leadership on the floor and the ability to direct care situations
- Ability to assist and collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team
