Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform instruction and services
- Develop, write, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school teams
- Provide data-driven behavioral interventions and progress monitoring to support student success
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design classroom strategies and accommodations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to eligibility and placement decisions
- Deliver direct counseling and short-term interventions when appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation, timely reports, and clear communication with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Must hold a Colorado School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience working with K-12 students across multiple school settings and grade levels
- Available for an in-person, full-time assignment (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026-2027 school year
- Willingness to work district-wide supporting multiple schools
- Provide 3 professional references with your submittal (name, title, phone, email) — two must be supervisory
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in psychoeducational assessment and interpretation
- Knowledgeable in IEP development, IDEA regulations, and special education processes
- Strong consultation and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Competent in designing and monitoring behavioral interventions
- Clear written and verbal communication for reports and meetings
- Comfortable managing caseloads and coordinating across multiple school sites
