Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to optimize clients' daily function
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting meaningful goals for patients and families
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic care and adaptive strategies in clinic-based rehabilitation
• Document progress, update care plans, and communicate outcomes clearly with the care team
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and other staff to coordinate holistic patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive equipment, and community resources
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture that reflects core values of faith, family, fairness, and fun

Qualifications

• Current state Occupational Therapy license (SD) or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
• NBCOT certification preferred or in process
• Valid CPR/BLS certification per facility requirements
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or outpatient therapy preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Entry-level Master's (MSOT) or OTD in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent accredited degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional assessments, ADL retraining, and therapeutic interventions
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, splinting basics, and activity grading
• Comfortable with documentation in electronic health record systems
• Strong clinical reasoning, goal-setting, and outcome measurement skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork across interdisciplinary settings
