Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Primarily Night 3x12, 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM (Night); CT start times 11:00 AM and 5:45 PM. May be scheduled into day coverage 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM as needed. Rotating coverage with weekends as required (may exceed every other weekend).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners (GE and Toshiba) to perform high-quality diagnostic exams across head/neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis and musculoskeletal studies
- Perform contrast preparation and administration safely and accurately for contrast-enhanced CT and vascular CTA studies
- Execute advanced procedures such as coronary CTA, brain perfusion studies, biopsies, aspirations and drainages when indicated
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions to protect patients and staff
- Use PACS (including Fuji Synapse) and Epic charting to document exams and communicate findings to the care team
- Collaborate with emergency department and stroke team members to deliver timely imaging for acute patients
- Support a busy department — assist transport and help where needed to keep care moving smoothly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience required (job notes indicate first-timers may be considered)
- Active ARRT CT or ARRT R credential required (facility can accept either ARRT CT or ARRT R)
- ARRT Advanced and CA CRT certifications listed as required in posting where applicable
- BLS certification required
- California CRT (state licensure) required — pending licenses are not accepted
- Experience in community hospital and adult acute care / emergency department settings preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in CT scanning protocols for Head/Neck, Chest (with/without contrast), Abdomen/Pelvis and Spine/Musculoskeletal
- Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media and monitoring for reactions
- Strong radiation safety knowledge and adherence to ALARA principles
- Experience with PACS systems, including Fuji Synapse, and integration with Epic
- Familiar with vascular CTA, coronary CTA and brain perfusion imaging
- Comfortable assisting with image-guided procedures: biopsies, aspirations and drainages
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume acute care and ED environment, including stroke activation workflows
