Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), days vary; Day shift. Call rotation approximately every 5th week (evenings and weekends). Weeknight callbacks between 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call as approved by cardiology/vascular surgery.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality adult echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies with accuracy and compassion
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and vascular surgeons to ensure timely, actionable imaging results
- Respond to call notifications and provide expert imaging during urgent and after-hours situations as required
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation of studies and patient interactions
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues across the imaging team
Qualifications
- RDCS, RCS, RVT or RVS credential required
- Active BLS certification required
- Specialized in Echo/Vascular imaging (no general ultrasound required)
- Willing and able to participate in call rotation (approximately every 5th week; evenings and weekends)
- Available for contract 2026-03-30 through 2026-06-29 and able to commit to four 10-hour day shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in echocardiography techniques and vascular ultrasound imaging
- Skilled in patient positioning, image acquisition, and producing diagnostic-quality studies
- Comfortable providing care during call and urgent situations
- Strong communication skills for working with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with maintaining certification and following departmental protocols
