Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions with expertise and compassion
• Provide respiratory therapies and interventions to improve patient breathing and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop and implement respiratory care plans
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments as directed to optimize outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions and patient progress clearly and accurately
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and escalate care as needed

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Comfort caring for patients with respiratory and cardiac illness
• Ability to work night shift and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Active, up-to-date licensure and credentials ready for verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in respiratory therapy principles and patient assessment
• Experience with respiratory interventions and patient monitoring
• Skilled in patient-centered care and effective communication
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and prioritize urgent needs
• Basic documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
