Shift Type: Self-scheduled 8-, 10-, 12-, 16- or 24-hour shifts (rotating; exact start/end times vary per self-scheduled block). Full-time expectation ~40 hours per week with on-call coverage as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer intravenous, inhalation and regional anesthetics during surgical, obstetrical, medical and dental procedures
- Provide anesthesia care for patients of all ages and ASA classifications, including pediatric and geriatric populations
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and clinical evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans tailored to each patient
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively to ensure safe anesthetic delivery
- Provide airway management services throughout the hospital when needed
- Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and participate in scheduled on-call coverage
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Document all patient care thoroughly and accurately within EPIC EMR
Qualifications
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential
- Current state nursing license or ability to obtain licensure in Michigan
- Current Board Certification required (candidates with lapsed certifications are not eligible)
- Not a new graduate — previous CRNA clinical experience expected
- Willing and able to work on-site in Novi and within approximately a 1-hour commute
- Available for on-call coverage as part of the team schedule
- Position is permanent — not open to locum or locum-to-perm candidates
- Open to H1B and J1 visa holders
Education
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential and completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Active state nursing license (or eligibility to obtain Michigan licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in anesthesia administration: IV, inhalation and regional techniques
- Strong airway management skills for diverse clinical scenarios
- Proficiency in intraoperative and postoperative patient monitoring
- Skilled in pre-anesthetic assessment and individualized care planning
- Experience documenting clinical care in EPIC EMR
- Comfort working across all ages and ASA classifications
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in anesthesia-related emergencies
- Effective collaboration and communication within multidisciplinary teams
