Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized OT plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families to support independence and safety
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to discharge planning

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible to obtain state licensure
• Active OTR credential or equivalent certification where applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfort working across common OT settings and with diverse patient populations
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (entry-level degree required; Master’s preferred where applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation and treatment planning
• Experience with adaptive equipment and activities of daily living training
• Familiarity with documentation standards and EMR charting
• Ability to collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and case management
• Good time management and caseload prioritization skills
